A Moderate Viewpoint In a Conservative Desert

Since the debate, the focus has been on Biden’s poor performance. That all ended on Sunday with Biden’s letter that he is dropping out of the race and endorsing VP Kamala Harris.

But, what about Trump? I thought his 90 minute “acceptance” speech at the Republican Convention was as disqualifying as Biden’s debate performance. The speech was rambling, disconnected, quoted Hannibal Lecter, and made absolutely no sense. Much like his rambling, disconnected, and stream of consciousness rally speeches. He actually thinks North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un misses him!

Trump asserts that the war in Ukraine will somehow magically end as soon as he is elected president. How? Has ANY media asked him about this? He made the same claim during the debate, at least two times. In fact, everyone has been so focused on Biden’s debate performance, they have missed really drilling down on Trump’s lies during that same debate.

Now we have had a series of late-night disjointed posts on “Truth” Social by Trump. There aren’t the first set of those. Donald Trump has a hard time putting together a coherent sentence or complete thought while being driven by his pathological narcissism personality disorder.

Let’s now start taking a hard look at Donald Trump, his age, his inability to string two coherent words together, or make a real speech that actually makes any sense. The excuse “Oh that’s just Donald Trump” doesn’t stand up to scrutiny any longer.
